I raise my eyes toward the mountains.
Where will my help come from?

My help comes from the Lordthe maker of
heaven and earth.

  1. I don't read that passage without hearing the song I learned based on the same passage. It's a truth that needs singing! (Great to find you through Deidra's Sunday Community.)

  2. Hi Sherrie,Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving an encouraging comment. 🙂 What a beautiful verse to think on today. Our help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth!Blessings,<><

  3. Hi! And I'm glad you came by here today. I'm frequently amazed at how folks don't realize where their help comes from, and I want that truth and belief so badly for them. Hoping you have a week full of blessings!

  4. I love this verse. Sometimes when I'm in the garden I stand up and inhale deeply. The instinct to offer praise is automatic, it seems. This verse is on my mind at those times.

  5. Well, you just touched my heart. I've driven through that general area so many times over the past years. Any anything heading towards the Columbia just draws me faster and faster.AND being a mountain addicted person, the Word and the photo grabbed my heart.

  6. I like that — "mountain addicted." 🙂 Makes this "mountain addicted" person happy you dropped by. And I'm glad you enjoyed the verse. Have a great week!

  7. Love this text! Coming from the West Highlands of Scotland (nr Glencoe and Ft William), this text is one which comes to mind often passing through the glens.
