It’s Friday morning and time to meet up with Lisa-Jo Baker — Tales of a Gypsy Mama, who spreads a feast before us consisting of a challenge:
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. Please visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments.
READY, SET, GO!
Here — home.
Here — in the age group called “seniors.”
Here — in my computer room.
Here — writing.
Here — in my community.
Here — means showing up.
Here — ready to be a part of whatever God wants of me.
Here — I am ready, Lord!
Here means so many things in my life. But most importantly here means I’m standing front and center for my Lord and Savior. He wants me ready, willing and able to do His bidding.
If I’m not front and center, I can’t be in His presence and ready to do what He’s calling me to do.
Here means I have to be ever conscious of His whispers, nudgings and tuggings.
Here must mean I’m chosen! Because if He had not chosen me to do His bidding, I wouldn’t be here.
One of my favorite songs is “Here I Am Lord,” and I’ve added this video to share that with you today. It says better than I can what I feel about the word “here.”
