We Are God’s Children

The Spirit of God calls to us,
With sighs too deep for words.
The Spirit of God calls to us,
Claiming us.
Summoning us to become more than we now are.
Calling us by name:  God’s children.

As His children and the recipients of His goodness, we should continually give thanks:

614.  Awesome message on Sunday from our Pastor Wife.
615.  Healthy eye appointments on Monday.
616.  Beautiful summer days at home, just the two of us.
617.  Our 31st anniversary on Wednesday.
618.  Anniversary greetings from family and friends, and our kids!
619.  A special dinner out to celebrate.
620.  Great lab results and doctors’ appointments for both of us.
621.  Privilege of praying for a young girl we’ve never met.
622.  Enjoying the beautiful flowers that are growing around us.

Although I’m traveling and can’t link up with Ann Voskamp at A Holy Experience and the counting community today.  Won’t you visit them anyway?
